There are many ways to get involved with SEARCH! Below are opportunities for you to contribute to the work of SEARCH. If you are not sure where you fit in, please do not hesitate to  contact us.

Contribute to a Science Brief

SEARCH develops short science briefs geared towards decision-makers. You can suggest a topic for a new brief, volunteer to author a brief, and/or help develop the underlying literature review! Learn more here.

Contribute to the Sea Ice Action Network Blog

The SEARCH Sea Ice Action Network is currently soliciting ideas for new blog articles and guest contributions. Learn more here.

Attend a SEARCH Event

We hold Town Halls, workshops, and science meetings, and are active as speakers and session organizers at other conferences. Information on SEARCH events are available here and are announced via the ArcticInfo mailing list.

Contribute to an Action Team or Working Group

Many SEARCH activities are undertaken by standing Action Teams and Cross-cutting Working Groups. There are various avenues to participate; the best way to get involved is to contact a team/group member to discuss your interests:

Nominate Yourself for the Science Steering Committee (SSC)

SEARCH is governed by a Science Steering Committee (SSC). Each spring a call for nominations for new SSC members is announced on the SEARCH website and the ArcticInfo mailing list.
