The Arctic Research Consortium of the United States (ARCUS) looks forward to meeting with members of the Arctic research community at the 2018 Alaska Marine Science Symposium (AMSS) at the Captain Cook Hotel in Anchorage. We invite you to seek out staff during conference proceedings (23-26 January 2018) or at the following scheduled events:

ARCUS Meet-and-Greet at AMSS

ARCUS is pleased to host an informal meet-and-greet with Executive Director, Bob Rich, and our new Community Development Manager, Alex Thornton. Join us on Thursday, January 25 for a drop-in event from 11:30am to 1pm at Moose A'La Mode (across from the Captain Cook Hotel at 360 K St. in Anchorage) to discuss how ARCUS can best help you and advance your research. We look forward to speaking with academic, corporate, Indigenous, and individual members about services ARCUS provides as a catalyst for interdisciplinary Arctic research, collaborations, and education.

AMSS Arctic Research Planning Night

ARCUS staff (Bob Rich and Alex Thornton) will be attending and co-sponsoring (with member Fairweather Science) an Arctic Research Planning Night at AMSS on Thursday, 25 January at 7:00-9:00 p.m. We'll have a table there with information and giveaways, Fairweather is providing drinks, and we'll be getting a cake to celebrate our 30th anniversary of crossing borders and building an Arctic research community.
