To develop an implementation plan for SEARCH (Study of Environmental Arctic Change) the Interagency Arctic Research Policy Committee formed a working group of program managers from the following agencies: the National Science Foundation (NSF), the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA),the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), the Department of Defense (DOD), the Department of Energy (DOE), the Department of the Interior (DOI), the Smithsonian Institution, the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), and the Arctic Research Commission. The U.S. Arctic Research Commission participates as an IPMC observer.
