The Northern Connections: Bridging Scientific and Indigenous Knowledge Team, in collaboration with the Atlas of Community-Based Monitoring and Indigenous Knowledge in a Changing Arctic, invites participation in their Community-Based Monitoring Program Survey.

Organizers are hoping to reach community-based monitoring, knowledge, research, and observation programs in the Arctic to contribute to an effort to help share information about and better connect these amazing programs across the North.

Organizers are asking those interested to contribute to the survey in order to update the Arctic Community-based Monitoring (CBM) Atlas, which was first launched over a decade ago.

In this effort, organizers hope to make it easier for communities, researchers, and others to find, learn about, and connect with CBM programs across the Arctic. For programs based in Alaska and northwest Canada, there are a few additional questions from the Northern Connections Team to explore opportunities to partner with other programs in your region.

The survey should take approximately 20 minutes. Participants will have the opportunity to review their entry before it is made public and can withdraw the project from the atlas at any time.
