The Arctic Research Consortium of the U.S. (ARCUS) announces the availability of meeting space during the American Geophysical Union (AGU) Fall Meeting 2019, to be held 9-13 December 2019 in San Francisco, California. Meeting space is available, by reservation, in rooms Monterrey I and Monterrey II of the Hotel Nikko San Francisco (222 Mason St., San Francisco, California).
The Arctic Community Meeting Rooms are hosted by ARCUS to encourage collaboration and to facilitate face-to-face meetings of opportunity, and are funded by the National Science Foundation's Division of Polar Programs. Meeting space is available in one- to two-hour blocks for groups working on Arctic research and/or education activities.
The meeting rooms are available free of charge. Technology available in Monterrey I will include the use of a projector, podium microphone, wifi, polycom phone, and a presentation computer, if needed. Monterrey II will include a projector, wifi, polycom phone, and a presentation computer. Meeting organizers are responsible for all costs associated with use of the polycom phones.
Catering options are available and orders may be placed through ARCUS. Meeting organizers are responsible for all catering costs.
