The Sea Ice Prediction Network (SIPN) announces availability of the
2015 Arctic Sea Ice Outlook (SIO) Post-Season Report! The full report and
highlights are available at:
https://www.arcus.org/sipn/sea-ice-outlook/2015/post-season.

The SIO is an activity of the Sea Ice Prediction Network project as a
contribution to the Study of Environmental Arctic Change (SEARCH:
http://www.arcus.org/search-program).

The organizers thank the groups and individuals that contributed to the
Sea Ice Outlook this year; there were a total of 105 submissions from
June to August. Organizers also thank the individuals and groups that
provided input to an earlier draft of the post-season report.

The post-season report was developed by the 2015 Sea Ice Outlook Action
Team, the SIPN Leadership team (http://www.arcus.org/sipn), and with
input provided to an earlier draft of the post-season report via
circulation on the SIPN Mailing List
(http://www.arcus.org/sipn/mailing-list).

The 2015 Sea Ice Outlook post-season report includes a review of the
Arctic summer conditions, a pan-Arctic overview, a summary of
local-scale analysis, discussion of the modeling and statistical
contributions, and a summary of lessons learned from the 2015 Sea Ice
Outlook as well as recommendations for the 2016 Sea Ice Outlook. Further
suggestions from the community are welcome.
