at The Alaska Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) Facility

The Alaska SAR Facility (ASF) seeks a new director to lead it to new
levels of service and excellence in global remote sensing, in its
relationship with the University of Alaska Fairbanks (UAF), and in its
role as part of the UAF Geophysical Institute (GI). The Director of the
ASF fills a chief executive officer position with a budget of over $13
million and a staff head count of 75. The successful candidate will
possess strong scientific, management, and leadership skills and believe
strongly in the mission of ASF. The new Director of ASF will drive new
business opportunities for the facility as well as continuing to
maintain data production and delivery excellence.
