4th Conference on Contaminants in Freezing Ground
The International Contaminants in Freezing Ground Conferences have
become the primary forum for leading-edge scientific research in the
field of remediation of contaminated freezing ground. More details of
the Fourth Conference will be forthcoming.
The 3rd Conference on Contaminants in Freezing Ground was sponsored by
governments and industry in a number of countries (Britain and European
Union, United States, Canada and Australia) and notably by companies
operating in environmental and construction activities and the petroleum
industry.
Papers ranged from cutting-edge scientific research, through field
applications and reports of current projects, to a few papers on legal
or 'political' questions. The latest collection of reports and research
papers in the growing field of Contaminants in Freezing Ground is
available in the recently-published Collected Proceedings of the Second
International Conference on Contaminants in Freezing Ground.
