The ACIA (Arctic Climate Impact Assessment) has reached the printing
stage. The expected demand for copies of this report has not yet been
estimated. As one of the partners to ACIA, IASC has been asked to
estimate the number of copies likely to be required by our members.

The estimated price is as follows:
- The Scientific Report (about 1300 pages), approx. USD 65
- The Overview Report (about 140 pages), approx. USD 20 (this report
is a summary of the Scientific Report)

A similar request for estimates of demand has been sent by AMAP and CAFF
to the governmental bodies in the Arctic countries. Those of you living
in these countries should exclude from your estimate the number of
reports required by governmental organizations.

Although estimating the demand for the report may be difficult, any
estimate of the expected number of copies required is better than none.
As a result of submitting an estimate, you will have the opportunity to
list your organization for receipt of the final publication announcement
and thereby ensure that you can make a timely order before they
eventually run out of stock.
