This symposium welcomes contributions on state-of-the-art sea ice
models, and the impact of sea ice in climate, atmospheric and oceanic
general circulation modelling studies. We welcome papers that address
how the representations of sea ice impacts on the formation of dense
water on Arctic and Antarctic continental shelves. In a similar theme,
papers that address the impact of sea ice on models of high-latitude
oceanic convection are welcome.
