BACKGROUND INFORMATION
The oil and gas and mining industries recognize that arctic logistics
pose enormous difficulties. Building infrastructure in extreme weather
conditions, transporting supplies, setting up camps, and hiring,
housing, and retaining a labor force are all challenges these industries
face. The Arctic Logistics Symposium will provide delegates with the
latest information on these obstacles. Environmental issues, regulatory
