This two-week intensive field course will concentrate on the circumpolar
aspects of ecology and culture in Newfoundland and Labrador. In addition
to visits to archaeological and historical sites typical of the North
Atlantic, field visits will enable students to familiarize themselves
with northern flora and fauna.
This 3-credit undergraduate course will take place from 8-19 August
2005. The cost is $1,000 USD, excluding travel to Newfoundland. Van
travel from the Center for Northern Studies is $350 extra. If credits
are needed, tuition is additional.
