The Exchange for Local Observations and Knowledge of the Arctic (ELOKA) invites applications for an Outreach and Network Manager. This two-year position, with potential extension pending funding, can be located in Boulder, Colorado or remotely.

The Outreach and Network Manager will work closely with ELOKA team members and partners to support partner and network activities to develop and apply data management systems for communities across the Arctic, including a number of partners in Alaska.

Key responsibilities will include outreach and network support, science communication, and supporting research and training activities. Applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree and prior work experience with Arctic or Indigenous communities and/or organizations, with preference for experience in Alaska. Desired skills include excellent project management skills; the ability to communicate effectively with Arctic community partners, Indigenous knowledge holders, and researchers; meeting facilitation; and willingness to learn and teach others to use software tools such as geospatial data applications and custom-built software tools.
