The May 2005 SEARCH Implementation Workshop was organized to engage broad input into workshop discussions and the resulting set of SEARCH priorities.

Invited workshop participants included over 80 representatives from the arctic research community from a wide array of disciplines. In addition, the SEARCH SSC, panels, and IPMC are actively seeking input from the wider community through a variety of means:

Pre-Workshop

In preparation for the workshop and the resulting report, the Observing Change, Understanding Change, and Responding to Change panels drafted position papers outlining priority implementation activities.

During the Workshop

While the workshop was in session, the online bulletin board remained available for interaction between workshop participants and the wider arctic research community.

Post-Workshop

The draft workshop report, which will recommend priorities for SEARCH implementation beyond the present Implementation Strategy, will be posted for community review and comment in July 2005.
