NSF sponsored a Arctic Field Safety Risk Management (ARM) Workshop, held 4-5 February 2014, to explore ways to improve practices, build communication, and reduce risk. The workshop was organized by NSF Research Support and Logistics program managers Renée Crain and Pat Haggerty in coordination with CH2MHILL Polar Services (CPS). A workshop website was hosted and maintained by CPS at: http://cpspolar.com/for-researchers/risk-management/arctic-risk-manageme...
ARCUS is leading development of the workshop report in collaboration with NSF, workshop participants, and with input from the broader community.
