The Arctic Data Center invites community input on needs for building Arctic data education resources for undergraduate instructors. This input can be provided through a short online form.

With over fifty-eight hundred datasets submitted to the Arctic Data Center by researchers, students, and technicians, there is an unprecedented opportunity for students to dive into real-world questions about one of the planet’s fastest-changing ecosystems. Because datasets from the repository range widely from oceanography to political science, they are applicable to a range of courses, and the Arctic Data Center is currently developing a list of example Arctic datasets for educators to use in conjunction with their own instructional materials.

In the first phase of this project, the Arctic Data Center is gauging what types of datasets or resources educators would value for teaching Arctic data science and the Center is ready to make these educational materials as broad or as in-depth as our community needs.

To gauge the needs of the community, the Arctic Data Center invites feedback via their short Google form.
