Cryospheric Sciences with ICESat-2 Hackweek 2020

The University of Washington (UW) will hold the Cryospheric Sciences with ICESat-2 Hackweek on 15—19 June 2020, on the UW campus in Seattle, Washington.

The Hackweek will comprise of five days of tutorials, data exploration, software development, and community networking focused on open source tools to analyze and visualize ICESat-2 data for cryospheric applications. Participants will build on tools developed at the 2019 hackweek, but attendance to that event is not a prerequisite for the 2020 hackweek.

All applications from participants at any career stage and level of technical ability are welcome. All tutorials and projects will use the Python programming language, and links to educational resources for those new to Python will be provided in advance of the event.

Registration is required to attend. There is no cost to register.
