Stockholm University invites applications for a postdoctoral fellow focusing on nitrous oxide (N2O) fluxes and nitrogen cycling on the East Siberian Arctic Shelf. This full-time, fixed-term, two-year position will be located in Stockholm, Sweden.

This project will measure N2O fluxes between ocean and atmosphere and identify potential N2O sources, as well as quantify rates of key nitrogen cycling processes across the East Siberian Arctic Shelf. The position involves a field campaign to the study area and laboratory incubations with state-of-the-art, compound-specific isotope tools.

Applicants are expected to hold a Swedish doctoral degree, or an equivalent degree from another country, in a field such as environmental sciences, Earth sciences, or biology. Collaborative skills and well-developed proficiency in scientific writing are required.
