Organizers invite abstracts and registration for the Sixth International Symposium on Arctic Research (ISAR-6). This symposium will convene 2-6 March 2020 in Tokyo, Japan.

The ISAR is the opportunity for presentations of, not only natural science research, but also the research in humanities, political science, economics, engineering, and others, gathered together to focus on changes in the environment and society around the people living in the Arctic, and discuss the provision of sustainable ways and knowledge.

During ISAR-6, organizers are planning to discuss how Arctic research has been progressing in the past ten years, and what should be done in the next ten years for the sustainable development goals.

Organizers of the third Arctic Science Ministerial (ASM3) have agreed to use the ISAR-6, the Arctic Science Summit Week (ASSW 2020), and the 10th International Congress of Arctic Social Sciences (ICASS X) to solicit scientific contributions and input to the ASM3. A special session, Scientific Contributions to the Third Arctic Science Ministerial, will be arranged at ISAR-6, and similar sessions are planned for ASSW 2020 and ICASS X.
