Polar Prediction announces the release of the newest issue of their newsletter, PolarPredictNews.
Articles in this issue include:
- Information about YOPPSiteMIP recipes for model and observation efforts;
- An article about sending weather balloons from the tiny island of Macquarie Island during the Year of Polar Prediction (YOPP) Special Observing Period in the Southern Hemisphere;
- An interview with the Executive Secretary of the Arctic Council’s Protection of the Arctic Marine Environment (PAME) Working Group, Soffia Gu∂mundsdóttir, discussing insights on the Arctic Shipping Data Base;
