The International Arctic Social Science Association (IASSA) is taking
applications for travel stipends for those participating in the 9th
International Congress on Arctic Social Sciences (ICASS IX) Conference
8-12 June 2017 in Umea, Sweden.

These stipends are available through funding provided by a National
Science Foundation award to the University of Northern Iowa from Arctic
Social Science Program to cover full or part of the costs for travel,
accommodations, and participation fees.

Stipend options include:

  • National Science Foundation stipend for persons residing in the
    Russian Federation,
  • National Science Foundation for Indigenous Peoples, and
  • National Science Foundation for early career scholars.
