Arctic Council Sustainable Development Working Group

Submission Deadline: 15 March 2016.

The Arctic Council's Sustainable Development Working Group is seeking
input for the One Health Project. An online survey is available for
participants until 15 March 2016.

One Health is the holistic approach considering human, animal, plant,
and environmental factors to identify health risks threatening the
Arctic. The project team will collect data via an online survey to
establish a baseline of the One Health approach in the Arctic region.
The survey aims to improve the understanding of where, how, and why
individuals and organizations use a One Health model.

The target audiences for the survey are those individuals who have lived
in, worked in, or done research in the Arctic, either currently or in the
past five years. The goal is to hear from a diverse group of
respondents, including traditional and local knowledge holders, who know
something about human heath, wildlife, plants, animal health,
ecosystems, marine and freshwater issues, water and sanitation, climate
impacts, emergency response, or health and science policy. The survey is
estimated to take 15 minutes to complete.

The survey relies on a chain-referral method, so the survey administrators
ask that responders share the survey link with three colleagues,
who in turn would take the survey and then share it with three contacts.
An individual can only take the survey once, but responses can be edited
until the survey is closed on 15 March 2016.

The survey can be found at: http://tinyurl.com/ACOneHealth.
