Researchers intending to submit proposals requiring ice drilling or ice
coring support to the National Science Foundation (NSF) 2012 Arctic
Research Opportunities or the 2012 Paleo Perspectives on Climate Change
(P2C2) are reminded that they must contact the Ice Drilling Program
Office (IDPO)/Ice Drilling Design and Operations (IDDO).

A Field Project Requirement Form is available on the IDPO/IDDO website
(http://www.icedrill.org/scientists/scientists.shtml), and must be
completed and submitted to IDPO/IDDO via email (icedrill [at] dartmouth.edu)
at least six weeks before the proposal deadline. Upon receipt of the
form, IDPO/IDDO will provide a cost estimate and a letter of support
that must be included with your proposal. The cost estimate and letter
of support should be included as Supplemental Information in your
proposal to NSF, and it is recommended that you also notify your
relevant NSF Program Manager that your proposal requires support from
the IDPO/IDDO.
