The Arctic Research Consortium of the United States (ARCUS) is hosting a
2.5 day workshop on arctic science education 6-8 April 1997 in New Orleans,
Louisiana following the national convention of the National Science
Teachers Association (NSTA). The workshop will bring together key people
to explore strategies and prepare implementation plans for concrete avenues
to long-term arctic research and education collaborations. The workshop is
for educators, researchers, representatives of arctic indigenous peoples,
community participants, and federal and Alaska state agency personnel.
