on the campus of
Michigan State University

U.S.A.

CONFERENCE FOCUS:
The 9th ITEX meeting will showcase integration within ITEX and seek to
catalyze integration with the Climate Change Community. The focus of the
conference will be to highlight ITEX achievements and demonstrate why ITEX
results are central to understanding vegetation response to global warming.
While stressing the need for continued long-term data sets, the conference
will emphasize linkages and applications of current ITEX work within and
beyond the network. The meeting will be proceeded by an ITEX synthesis
volume that integrates the current ITEX findings in a way that is useful to
the global change community.
