Research Opportunity
Ph.D. opportunity in limnology/paleolimnology of Antarctic dry valley
lakes in conjunction with the McMurdo Long Term Ecological Research (LTER)
site.
General areas of study may include sedimentology, isotope geochemistry, and
modern physical/biotic processes. Must be available to assist in field
program October 1 through December 15, 1999. Ph.D. program will officially
start in January, 2000. Research assistantship and tuition waiver provided.
Previous research experience in Arctic or Antarctic environments desirable.
