Post doctoral position focused on the inorganic carbon system in the
Arctic Mediterranean Seas.

A post doctoral research grant for a period of up to 24 months is
available at the Department of Analytical and Marine Chemistry, Goteborg
University, Sweden. The preferred starting date is 1 June 2001.
Applicants must have received a Ph.D. degree not more than 4 years
before the agreed starting date. We are looking for a person with
sea-going experience including the determination of the oceanic
carbonate system. Experience in relating analytical data to
biogeochemical processes is desirable. The candidate will work in a
group of 5 researchers of which three are Ph.D. students.

The stipend is 19,000 Swedish kroner per month (about 9.50 Skr to the
US$). It is tax free in Sweden, but the candidate has to cover his/her
insurance and personal travel costs out of the grant.
