Institute of North America (AINA); the Arctic Research Consortium of the
United States (ARCUS); the National Snow and Ice Data Center (NSIDC);
and the Snow, Ice, and Permafrost (SIP) Technical Committee of the
American Geophysical Union (AGU), at the Fall Meeting of AGU in San
Francisco. Join your arctic colleagues for warm company, hot food, and
cold drink.

Please join us in honoring:
Will Harrison, newly elected Fellow of AGU;
Barclay Kamb, for breadth of his glaciological research; and
The National Snow and Ice Data Center (NSIDC) for 25 years of service.

AINA and ARCUS jointly sponsor receptions at major arctic meetings,
including at AGU, to provide a place where hundreds of people with
arctic interests can find each other amidst the thousands. For the
fourth year ARCUS and AINA are joined in this effort at the Fall meeting
by the National Snow and Ice Data Center and the Snow, Ice, and
Permafrost Technical Committee of AGU.
