The project formerly known as WODS (Western Oceanographic Data Set was
provided by Jim Swift of Scripps) is finally on line and live on ARCSS
Data Coordination Center! It is now titled: Physical and Chemical
Properties from Selected Expeditions in the Arctic Ocean.
It can be seen at: http://arcss.colorado.edu/data/arcss077.html
This is the initial release of data for which we had complete meta-data
background information. As additional meta-data becomes available other
data sets will be added to the Web site.
Of course, you can let me know at any time if you discover any problems.
My thanks to Yarrow Axford, Science/Technical Writer here at the
National Snow and Ice Data Center for all her labors and to Terry Haran,
the programmer that helped us untangle most of the confusing threads.
And to Jim Swift and David Muus who initially sent us this data set
collection long ago. I would also like to remember all those that came
and went before this project was completed.
