DEADLINE FOR ABSTRACTS (NEW): 15 MAY 2002
The Second Announcement of the Northern Timberline Forests Workshop is
now available, together with registration forms, at
http://www.metla.fi/tapahtumat/2002/timberline/
This workshop is part of the Arctic Council's project on Sustainable
Development in Northern Timberline Forests. The goal of the workshop
is to review recent research and to prepare recommendations on
sustainable development in the tundra-taiga zone for delivery to the
Arctic Council's Ministerial Meeting in October 2002.
Please note that the deadline for submission of abstracts has been
extended to 15 May 2002.
