Teaching Position Vacancy at University of Manitoba
Native Studies Department

PhD or equivalent, university-teaching experience, able to teach a wide
range of areas in Native Studies including introductory level.

Must have expertise in one or more of the following: Metis History,
Aboriginal Literatures, and Aboriginal Community Development
particularly Aboriginal Urban Sociology.

Although the salary floor is identified at $35,230.00, and the term is 2
years, the Department Head, Dr. Peter Kulchyski, explained he will
negotiate a higher salary for candidates with more experience, and the
term may become tenure track depending on departmental staffing.
