TYPICAL DUTIES: This position will assist PI in the development and
maintenance of computer simulation models for ecological modeling
research program. The duties include: Assisting in the development of
computer simulation models including testing, debugging, and
documenting. Create and maintain associated databases. Network and
system administration. Troubleshoot system and network problems.
Assist in data analysis and generation of reports. Computer hardware
and software installation and maintenance. Perform other related duties
as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Computer programming expertise in C++, Pascal,
and Visual Basic. Knowledge of computer hardware and software
installation, computer networking, system maintenance and
administration. Experience in vegetation ecology, specifically
sub-arctic and boreal forest ecology. Ability to work, independently;
keep neat and accurate records and documentation; good communication
(oral and written) skills; experience analyzing data. Sufficient to
have acquired the knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the duties
of the job.

GRADE: 78, $16.46 /hour, Term-Funded, Part Time, Non-Exempt
