Deadline for registration and abstracts: 1 April 2003
Please note that the deadline for registration and abstracts for the
11th Arctic Ungulate Conference is due 1 April 2003. The Second Circular
of the Conference is available at http://www.rktl.fi/auc/index.html.
The 11th Arctic Ungulate Conference (AUC) will convene in Saariselkä, in
the Heart of Lapland, Finland, on 24-28 August 2003. The principal
co-host of the congress is Finnish Game and Fisheries Research Institute
in co-operation with Nordic Council of Reindeer Research (NOR), Reindeer
Herders´ Association in Finland and Ivalo reindeer herding district.
The 11th AUC continues a series of ten conferences devoted to Arctic
Ungulates, including five International Reindeer/Caribou Symposia, two
International Muskox Symposia and three Arctic Ungulate Conferences.
