Call for Cryosphere Special Session Proposals at the Fall AGU
Currently we have 5 sessions proposed to Cryosphere:
-glacier geophysics
-antarctic glaciers
-CLPX snow experiment
-general snow hydrology
-planetary permafrost

I am the Cryosphere representative at the pre-planning meeting. AGU has
scheduled a pre-planning meeting for 15-16 June in San Francisco. The
meeting will begin at 8:00am on June 15 and adjourn by noon on June 16.
The agenda will include approval of the proposed sessions and a
walk-through of the Moscone Center West (new space for Fall Meeting).

The deadline for session proposals is 20 May 2003.
We ask potential conveners first to "pitch" the session idea to an
appropriate member of the Cryosphere executive committee, or to me
directly. If you think it would be a good proposal, then contact me. I
will then provide the convener with the URL of the session submission
web site and a password. This will give the committee some control over
submissions.

For each session proposed, we need:
Title
Conveners
Oral or poster session
If a joint Session, list the section/focus group that the session is
joint with Abstract of proposed session
GAP index terms (at least two)
