CONFERENCE OVERVIEW
The Life in the Cold 2004 Conference is an international gathering of
scientists interested in communicating their research on themes related
to hibernation biology, cryobiology, thermoregulation, polar biology,
and other topics related to overwintering strategies of animals. The
conference is being organized by the Institute of Arctic Biology,
University of Alaska Fairbanks. It will take place 25 July - 1 August
2004 on board a ship traveling from Vancouver, B.C. to Seward, Alaska.
There will be a post conference event at UAF's SeaLife Center in Seward.

POSTER PRESENTATIONS
We encourage presenters of oral contributions to also present posters on
related or other topics, as well as poster contributions from all other
participants.

If you are planning to present a poster, please include the following:
- title
- authors
- home institutions
- abstract (single spaced and no more than one page)
