AGU is now accepting proposals for special sessions for the 2004 Fall
AGU meeting in San Fransisco. You are urged to consider proposing a
special session through Cryosphere to the fall AGU meeting.

Proposing a special session is relatively easy. You need:
(1) An abstract
(2) Two or more convenors
(3) Contact information for the convenors
(4) Some key words, which you can get online (required by AGU)

Last year was quite successful, with 12 special sessions and 340
abstracts. The large number of abstracts put Cryosphere on par with
Oceans.

Deadline for Special Session Proposals: Friday, 11 June 2004

please go to:

AGU is trying a new approach this year for proposing special session.
Convenors propose sessions directly on the web site above. Click on the
"Session Proposal" quick link and follow the directions. If you have
difficulty accessing this site, you may also send your suggestions for
posting to:

Please note that in proposing a Session, you are not guaranteed
acceptance. Session Proposals may be edited, modified, or combined at
the suggestion or request of a Program Committee member, and with
appropriate discussion with the convener.
