The Exxon Valdez Oil Spill Trustee Council (EVOS) is soliciting
nominations for the October 2004 - September 2006 term of the Public
Advisory Committee (PAC). The PAC consists of 20 members representing
the following principal interests:
- Aquaculture/mariculture
- Commercial fishing
- Commercial tourism
- Conservation/environmental
- Local government
- Marine transportation
- Native landowners
- Recreation users
- Regional monitoring
- Science/technical
- Sport hunting & fishing
- Subsistence
- Public-at-large
PAC members are appointed by the Secretary of the Interior to a two-year
term.
