REVISIONS AND UPDATES
The Tuesday, 17 August 2004 deadline date for REU Sites proposals is
approximately one month earlier than last year's deadline (except for
the Antarctic Program, which has traditionally had the deadline in June
along with the other Antarctic deadlines). Please take note of whether
it permits earlier proposal review and decision making for you and
whether PIs in your disciplinary community express positive or negative
views about it. Hopefully, the benefits of a mid-August deadline will
outweigh the inconveniences for some PIs.
