ICDS is looking for an experienced ice drill engineer for its Madison,
Wisconsin office. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of a BS
degree in engineering and at least 5 years experience in the design,
operation, and maintenance of mechanical ice drills.
Responsibilities would include consulting with researchers on the
appropriate equipment for their projects, determining modifications
needed to drill equipment, designing and overseeing fabrication of
equipment, assisting in the planning of equipment maintenance, writing
operating and maintenance instructions and conducting training, and
assisting with projects onsite when necessary.
