More than thirty years of training and experience in freshwater, estuarine and marine biological systems. Experienced in operation and management of field and laboratory research programs on ecological fate and effects of pure compounds, mixtures, effluents, spills and runoff using acute and sublethal toxicity, physiological, behavioral, and chemical assessments. Managed aquatic toxicology laboratories for environmental research, and for testing spills and regulated effluents. Managed interdisciplinary research cruises in the Gulf of Mexico, the Caribbean, the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans, the Bering Sea, and the Arctic Ocean.
