Köln GermanyBioI am a Norwegian climate researcher and science communicator, with my research expertise within Arctic cryospheric/atmospheric interactions. I currently live in Cologne, Germany, where I work as a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Cologne, while also holding the role as the deputy director of the NGO Pole to Paris based in Christchurch, New Zealand. My goal is to provide our society with relevant, understandable science as we move toward a more sustainable tomorrow.

Current Research

Focusing on the impact of a rapidly warming Arctic for its regional snowfall and snow cover, as well as related feedback mechanisms. Doing this as a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Cologne, Germany, as part of the Transregional Collaborative Research Centre TR 172, ArctiC Amplification: Climate Relevant Atmospheric and SurfaCe Processes, and Feedback Mechanisms (AC)³.
