Oulu , Northern OstrobothniaFinlandBioDr Alexandra Middleton is an Assistant Professor at University of Oulu, Finland, which is well known for its research in Arctic-related matters. She has expertise in sustainable business development, corporate social responsibility, demographics, human capital, employment and connectivity solutions in the Arctic. Currently, she works on “Business Index North” project. The goal of the project is to contribute to sustainable development and value creation in the Arctic and High North, with the ultimate aim of creating a knowledge-based information tool for stakeholders in the Arctic (e.g., businesses, academics and governments). The project includes recommendations to policymakers in Finland, Sweden, Norway and Russia (expanding to USA and Canada during 2018)
