André Légaré holds a Ph.D. in Geography from the University of Saskatchewan (Saskatoon). He holds Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Geography, as well as a Master’s degree in Political Science from Laval University (Quebec City). For the past twenty years, he has written extensively on governance in the Canadian North. He presently makes his home in Yellowknife where he works as a Chief Negotiator on Aboriginal Land Claims and on Self-Government.
