Since then I have received my PhD and returned north to both the Arctic and Sub-Arctic on a number of occasions both to work and to visit friends and places of interest. While my abiding interests lie in northwestern British Columbia, and adjoining portions of the Yukon, I have worked with many Native and non-native descendent communities throughout the western United States and Canada. My current position with TRC allows me the opportunity to consult widely, and also to be involved in ensuring that some development projects are done in a manner sensitive to the environment and in such a way that Native American and other descendent communities have a voice in the process.
