Since 2021, she is a research associate at Archéologie des Amériques (UMR 8096 ArchAm) of Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne. She has worked in the Canadian Arctic, Greenland, and Alaska. She has published about Yukon and Nunavik prehistory, Inuvialuit oral history, missionary Émile Petitot, and intellectual property and ethics in Indigenous research. From 2002 to 2017, she was the editor of the journal Études/Inuit/Studies. In 2017, she was appointed member of the Toponymy Commission of Quebec.
