Waltham , Massachusetts 02452United StatesBioThom Davis has degrees in geology from University of New Hampshire (B.A.), University of Maine (M.S.), and University of Colorado (Ph.D.). His primary research interests include glacial geology and climate change in arctic and alpine areas. He has been funded by research grants from National Science Foundation for field work on Baffin Island in Canadian Arctic, in the American Cordillera, and in northern New England and the Maritimes. He is co-author of a book titled "Geology of New Hampshire’s White Mountains." He teaches courses with titles that include Global Climate Change (including in New Zealand), Weather and Climate; Water and the Environment (Introductory Hydrology), Science of Sustainability, and Principles of Geology (including in Iceland).
