She has worked for many years in field expeditions to the Arctic, Antarctic, and temperate regions, with a sprinkling of tropical cruises. Current emphasis is in the deployment of ice-tethered chemical observing buoys (O-Buoys for atmospheric O3, BrO, CO2, and meteorological measurements, to be expanded to seawater chemical parameters) and Arctic floats equipped with physical and bio-optical sensors.
