If you are interested in being part of the conversation on Arctic research planning or are curious about what the Arctic Research Plan is and how it is being updated for 2027-2031, please join us for an information session on September 18 from 9am-10:30am AKT / 1pm-2:30pm ET. This is your opportunity to learn how the plan guides Federal Arctic research and how you can contribute your input.
This virtual webinar will be co-hosted by the Interagency Arctic Research Policy Committee (IARPC) Secretariat, the Navigating the New Arctic Community Office (NNA-CO), and the Arctic Research Consortium of the United States (ARCUS).
This information session will outline the process for updating the five-year national Arctic Research Plan, how you can get involved, what kinds of input IARPC is seeking, as well as upcoming opportunities to participate in focused topic discussions.
There will be time for questions and discussion. All are welcome - IARPC is seeking input from any interested individuals and organizations to ensure that the research interests and needs of all are addressed appropriately in the updated Plan.
Register for the webinar here.
The public comment period is open through November 15. Read the full Federal Register Notice and submit comments regarding what updates should be made to the Arctic Research Plan 2027-2031 here.
