The Svalbard Integrated Arctic Earth Observing System (SIOS) invites abstracts for their Online Conference on Earth Observation and Remote Sensing Applications in Svalbard. This online conference will take place 12-14 October 2022.
The SIOS Knowledge Centre (SIOS KC) and the SIOS Remote Sensing Working Group invites abstracts from the Svalbard science community working on applications using Earth Observation (EO), Remote Sensing (RS), and Geoinformation (GI).
The conference aims to promote the work of PhD students, postdocs, researchers, senior scientists, and academics who are actively contributing to the science of Svalbard, and to review the state-of-the-art EO and RS applications in Svalbard.
The top five papers presented by Early Career Researchers (ECRs) will have the opportunity to attend SIOS’s annual gathering Polar Night Week (PNW) in Longyearbyen, Svalbard.
Conference registrants must be logged in their account with SIOS to fill out the abstract submission form. New accounts are approved by SIOS-KC during office hours (8:00-16:00 Norwegian time, Monday-Friday). To register a new account, go to the SIOS webpage.
