The Kawerak Board of Directors announces the release of the Kawerak-Region Tribal Research Protocols, Guidelines, Expectations, and Best Practices.
This document was developed in collaboration with the 20 Tribes of the region over the past several years and has been approved and released by the Board of Directors. This document represents a Tribal vision for research in the Kawerak-Region that they expect researchers, funders, and others connected to research to follow when working in their region, or conducting research related to their region.
The ideas within the document are applicable to research of all kinds and across disciplines; they also have relevance to research-adjacent fields such as journalism and education.
